Portal Vital is a content project by Unilever and its brands, launched in 2009, to bring consumers closer to brands, delivering service through relevant content as the basis of its CRM (Consumer Relationship Management) strategy.
I participated in the project as a freelancer in 2012/2013, when I was still working in daily journalism, and that was my first contact with Content Marketing and all the concepts of organic traffic generation.
Looking at it from my current perspective, I understand Unilever as a brand that was always ahead of its time, investing in trends, SEO, and content, when this was not yet carried out by other big brands in the market.
